She is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Amelia Lopez was born in Cuba in 1928. She was a graduate in chemistry from Las Dominicas Francesas in La Habana. Amelia immigrated to the United States in 1959, where she was naturalized as an American citizen.
