With profound sadness and immense gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, whose kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born in Navia de Suarna, Lugo, Spain, a quaint village nestled in the beautiful countryside of northern Spain, she was the youngest of eight children. As the youngest in a hardworking family, she learned the values of perseverance, sacrifice, and service at an early age, helping with the many responsibilities of the family business.

In her mid-twenties, she courageously left her homeland and moved to Marianao, Havana, Cuba, where she lived with her oldest sister and brother-in-law. While in Cuba, she worked for a prominent family before embarking on another life-changing journey. In her thirties, she immigrated to the United States in search of freedom and opportunity.

It was there that she met the love of her life, Enrique, and together they built a home filled with love, hard work, and unwavering devotion. Their greatest joy was raising their only daughter, Laura, and creating a life centered on family, faith, and generosity.

She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Laura; her cherished granddaughters, Katherine and Karolina; her beloved grandson, William; and her beloved son-in-law, Javier, who will forever treasure her love, wisdom, and countless memories.

She was adored by friends and neighbors for her infectious laughter, warm embrace, and extraordinary generosity. Her home was always open, her kitchen was always full, and no one ever left her table hungry. Whether sharing homemade baked goods, preparing a meal, or simply offering a kind word, she made everyone feel like family.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved Enrique, a reunion we know was filled with love and peace. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing her legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the friendships she nurtured, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.

En Amorosa Memoria de Nuestra Querida Madre

Con profunda tristeza, pero con inmensa gratitud por una vida plenamente vivida, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, cuya bondad, fortaleza y amor incondicional tocaron el corazón de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Nació en Navia de Suarna, Lugo, España, un pintoresco pueblo enclavado en el hermoso paisaje del norte de España. Fue la menor de ocho hermanos. Desde muy joven aprendió el valor del sacrificio, el trabajo y el servicio, ayudando con las numerosas responsabilidades del negocio familiar.

A mediados de sus veinte años, tomó la valiente decisión de dejar su tierra natal para trasladarse a Marianao, La Habana, Cuba, donde vivió con su hermana mayor y su cuñado. Mientras residía en Cuba, trabajó para una familia de buena posición económica antes de emprender otro viaje que cambiaría el rumbo de su vida. Ya en sus treinta años, emigró a los Estados Unidos en busca de libertad y nuevas oportunidades.

Fue allí donde conoció al amor de su vida, Enrique, y juntos construyeron un hogar lleno de amor, esfuerzo y dedicación. Su mayor orgullo fue criar a su única hija, Laura, y formar una familia cimentada en el amor, la fe y la generosidad.

Le sobreviven su amada hija, Laura; sus queridas nietas, Katherine y Karolina; su querido nieto, William; y su apreciado yerno, Javier, quienes siempre llevarán en sus corazones su amor, su sabiduría y los innumerables recuerdos compartidos.

Fue muy querida por sus amigos y vecinos por su risa contagiosa, su cariño sincero y su extraordinaria generosidad. Las puertas de su hogar siempre estuvieron abiertas, su cocina siempre llena, y nadie que entrara en su casa se marchaba con hambre. Ya fuera compartiendo sus dulces y panes caseros, preparando una comida o brindando una palabra de aliento, hacía sentir a todos como parte de su familia.

Hoy se encuentra reunida en el cielo con su amado Enrique, un reencuentro que imaginamos lleno de paz y amor. Aunque su ausencia deja un inmenso vacío en nuestros corazones, encontramos consuelo al saber que su legado perdurará en la familia que tanto amó, en las amistades que cultivó y en las incontables vidas que tocó con su bondad.

La extrañaremos profundamente, la recordaremos con infinito amor y vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
