It was a privilege to teach Andrea during her senior year at Riviera. What I first noticed was that she could make friends with anyone and easily gain the respect of older and younger classmates alike.  She was naturally smart, funny and social, all desirable traits. 

Like everyone, I am still in shock over her passing. She had enormous vitality, and personality. There was never any doubt if she was passionate about something or some issue. She didn’t hold back. Nor was she avoidant of her flaws. 


Words escape me due to the suddenness of her death  but my sincerest condolences to family, friends, classmates and associates. I can hear her laugh, sense her smile and humor in the spirit realm now and when people say she made a positive impact on them, past or present, they are probably understating the truth.  

Again my deepest condolences. Her passing was generations too soon.

The sisters of Delta Kappa Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma are deeply saddened by the passing of our sister, Andrea. Her kindness, spirit, and the memories she shared with those around her will forever remain a part of our sisterhood. 

We extend our deepest condolences to Andrea's loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. She will always be remembered as our sister, and her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of the Delta Kappa Chapter.

You are sooo soo strong and im sure you would say its because of Jesus which-Amen. You are the example of what it looks like to have joy  amidst trails. Your light, your joy, your smile and beauty lives on beyond Heaven. I think thats why its hard to believe we wont see you again until we get to Heaven too. Im so blessed to have prayed, worshipped and learned along side you at Family Room. Your faith in Jesus impacted me and so many others, i'm sure of it. Thank you for the laughs to cause you always had me cracking up thank God we were able to love the Lord and have sense of humor hehe. 
May you be resting in the presence of His eternal peace and joy. I love you my beautiful and radiant sister in Christ!

One thing Andrea would do is WORSHIP JESUS.

There are some people who leave footprints on your heart that never fade, and you were one of them.

You brought so much joy to everyone around you. Your smile could light up any room, but it was your laugh that I will remember most. You had a way of making people feel happy, welcomed, and loved just by being yourself.

To me, you were so much more than a best friend, you were like the older sister I always looked up to. You showed me kindness, strength, and how to find joy even in the smallest moments. Thank you for always believing in me, making me laugh, and being someone I could always count on.

Your spirit lives on in every smile you inspired, every lesson you taught, and every memory we shared. I will carry those memories with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for being such an incredible person and for being the best friend and the big sister figure I could have ever asked for.

Andrea was one of those people who always showed the light of Christ. I was always someone who, in many times, felt like I had awkward moments- I didn’t know how to express myself sometimes and I felt quite misunderstood many times by others. During times where I felt very low and like I couldn’t fit in a room where I felt like I was not wanted- she was one of those people who stood up for me, cared for me and showed me love when I needed it. I can’t tell you how much those moments meant to me. I have never forgotten about the way she made me feel in those moments. Even though we weren’t close and haven’t spoken in a long time she has always given me hope that good people truly do exist. Those who look out for others and genuinely care and love others from the heart. I can’t believe she is gone. I am so heartbroken and will be praying for her and her family as much as possible. Rest in His loving presence my friend.

Andrea had the biggest heart and was one of the most loving people on this planet. She meant so much to so many. To me, she was one of the best friends that someone could ask for and hearing the news of her passing was absolutely devastating. She somehow managed to always brighten up your day and make you feel special. I will forever cherish all the memories I have been so fortunate to have with her.

Andrea was many things to a lot of people. To me she was an amazing, high energy, caring, and always present friend, that I knew I could count on no matter when or where I was. To all who are left without her, I am so sorry for your loss. May her soul and memories live on through those she loved.

Andrea you simply were the best of us, in every way. The love and elation you brought to every situation is something I will cherish forever. You taught me confidence, and self love. You set an example for strength and courage. You were my best friend in college, my confidant. My heart feels empty and that space will forever be reserved for you. 

The bond and connection we shared was unbreakable no matter the distance. I always felt your love and support no matter what, and I pray you felt the same. I wish I could say goodbye, I wish I could tell you how proud of you I am. I wish I could hear you make one more joke or listen to one more Pitbull song together. I will cherish the birthdays, dinners and events but I will mostly hold close the moments we pushed through adversity together. I love you Dre with every fiber in my body, and I promise to live the way you would have wanted me to.

So grateful and blessed to have shared some great memories with Andrea, she was a real beacon of light and filled the room with smiles always. She really was one of the most genuine people I've had the pleasure to meet in a long time, and my condolences go to the whole family and everyone that surrounded themselves with her grace.
