Antonio Dobao

Antonio was born on December 19, 1941 in Havana, Cuba. He was the third of four children born to Guillermo and Manuela Dobao. The family eventually relocated to Miami, Florida where they established their business, “Dobao and Sons.”

An accomplished master welder, Antonio worked on battleships in the California harbor until he was approached by the United States Army. He was stationed in Korea and served proudly in the Eighth Army. Following his service, he settled down in Miami and continued work as a master welder and active contributor to the family business.

Antonio was deeply devoted to his family and his three children and four grandchildren. He was an exceptionally talented man who enjoyed the challenge of learning and mastering new things and invention.

Mr. Dobao is survived by his son Tonito Dobao (Dawn Dobao); their daughters, Emily and Julie Dobao; his daughter, Gerenita Worden (Neil Worden); their sons Darren and Benjamin Worden; his daughter, Alicita Dobao, and his siblings, Digna Dobao; Guillermo Dobao; Gerardo Dobao, and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Manuela Dobao, and his brother-in-law, Jesus Gonzalez.

Antonio Dobao, de 78 años, fallecio el 29 de agosto de 2020 con su familia a su lado en su casa en Miami, Florida. Se llevará a cabo un servicio con memorativo el jueves 3 de septiembre de 2020. Antonio nació el 19 de diciembre de 1941 en Habana, Cuba. Fue el tercero de cuatro hijos de Guillermo y Manuela Dobao. La familia finalmente se mudó a Miami, Florida, donde establecieron su
