Antonio O Fraga

Tony is survived by his loving wife Isabel A. Fraga and his children from a previous marriage: Olga Maria Fraga, Antonio Carlos Fraga (Cori Basulto), Alberto Javier Fraga (Carmen Obregon) and Alexander William Fraga (Claudia Ramirez,) as well as eleven grandchildren of whom he was extremely proud. Tony was pre-deceased by his parents and his sisters Maria Elena Navarrete and Ana Maria Friedman.

After the Cuban Revolution and after graduating from New York Military Academy, he began his business career at IBM in New York where he had a meteoric rise - starting in the mail room and ending as Area Manager in Detroit, Michigan. Tony then moved his family to Miami, Florida and in 1979, founded the commercial real estate company FIRC Group, Inc. Shortly thereafter, the company expanded to commercial and residential development, and then into hospitality development and management. Along with his son Alex, Tony grew the FIRC Group into a real estate and hospitality powerhouse.

A funeral mass will be held in his honor on January 19, 2023 at 12 noon at Epiphany Catholic Church, 8235 SW 57th Ave, Miami, Florida 33143; Tony will be interred following the funeral mass at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 6200 SW 77th Ave, Miami, Florida 33143.
