Antonio L Romero

Antonio L. Romero, 86, originally from  Camaguey, Cuba, resident of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2012. Mr. Romero's family originates from Galicia, Spain and relocated to Cuba where Mr. Romero was born on May 5,1925 . Mr. Romero owned a jewelry store located in Santa Clara that was passed on to him by his father, Jose Antonio Romero and mother, Rosa Maria Francisca Jimenez Capote. Mr. Romero is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Odette Romero; his two daughters Rosa L. Mendez (Julio Mendez) and Odette Encinosa (Eduardo Encinosa); his beloved grandchildren Joey, Melissa, Jeannette, Julius, and E.J.; and great-granddaughter Mia Isabella.  Visitation will take place at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Funeraria Memorial Plan Westchester, 9800 SW 24th Street Miami, FL 33165. Funeral will depart 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 to Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25 Street Miami FL 33172.  www.memorialplanwestchester.com
