Barbara Elaine (Mogg) McCarthy, age 100, of Kingston/St. Andrew, Jamaica, and Miami Florida, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022. Barbara was pre-deceased by her husband, Allan Scott McCarthy in 1976.
Barbara is survived by two sisters, Rema “Cherrie” (Mogg) Walker (NY) and June (Mogg) Hardie, (UK); three daughters, Maxine (Errol Thomas) (NJ), Jacqueline Johnson (FL), and Vilma (Octavio Ortiz) (FL). She is also survived by grandchildren Kevin Thomas (Amy Brown), Daniel Thomas (Jessica Fish), Jessica Thomas, Jaimie Johnson, Jodi Johnson Whitfield (Elijah), Matthew McCarthy, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and many nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones around the world.
