Originally from Sagua La Grande, Cuba, Berta’s life was marked by resilience, warmth, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She made her home in Miami, Florida, where she built a legacy rooted in love, strength, and heritage.
Berta is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Heriberto; her beloved children, Herbie (Teri) and Susi (Chris); her five cherished granddaughters: Stefanie, Zoe, Emma, Olivia, and Violet; and her two older sisters, Emma and Norma. She was also a beloved aunt and friend to many. She was the heart of her family and was always ready with loving support, a listening ear, and wisdom that held generations together.
A visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Little Havana (3344 SW Eighth St, Miami FL 33135), beginning at 6pm on Thursday, June 26th. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 27th at St. Michael The Archangel Church (2987 W Flagler St, Miami FL 33135) at 10am.
