Blanca Josefina Iglesias died on May 25th, 2024. She is survived by her children, Lourdes G. Iglesias and Paul Iglesias (Liz) and by her three grandchildren, Maria Iglesias Waryasz (Nick), Matthew Iglesias and Robert Iglesias and was predeceased by her husband, Nardy Iglesias. Blanca born November 12, 1938, in Havana, Cuba the only child of Jose Benito Aparicio Garcia and Blanca Rosa Martinez-Lufriu Quizas. She married Nardy in December 1959 and arrived in the United States in November 1960. Blanca spent most of her professional career in banking and financial services in Northern Virginia and Miami.
A funeral mass for the repose of the soul of Blanca Iglesias will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena, 9200 SW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL 33176. Following the mass there will be a private family committal service from at Caballero Woodlawn North, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
