Carlos M. Elias passed away Sunday August 18, 2019 at the age of 97. He was born in Antilla Cuba on October 10, 1922, to the parents of Felippe and America Elias. While living in Cuba he worked as a watch maker and enjoyed taking his son to the movies every Saturday. He loved dancing with his beautiful wife Ramona.
In May 1954, he immigrated to the United States, with his wife and son where he continued working and developing his career as a watch maker with determination he experienced the American Dream where he opened his own business, “Trade Workshop,” where after much hard work he retired in the late 1980’s.
Throughout his life he enjoyed ocean fishing, and camping in the Florida Keys, with his family and friends. As time passed he spent his days, playing dominoes at the club, and watching the Marlins baseball games. He loved traveling with his family. The last few years of his life he savored moments spent in the Dominican Republic.
He is survived by his wife Ramona, son Luis and daughter-in-law Kathy, Port Saint Lucie, Granddaughter Carla Elias and spouse Timothy Prefontaine, Granddaughter Jessica Elias and spouse Asmar Espanol, Greatgrandchildren Johnathan Elias, Samir A. Espanol, Mathew Peace, Kadin I. Espanol, Eliya M. Espanol.
