Arrangements under the direction of Golightly, Catherine M., age 62, passed away on July 10, 2014 after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer. She was born on February 2, 1952 in Miami, FL to Charles and Evelyn Golightly. She was a graduate of Miami Killian Senior High School and a dedicated employee of AvMed Health Plans for over 30 years. Cathi was recognized for her charitable activities. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by her mother Evelyn Golightly, step father Albert Altarac, husband Chris, sister Joyce Brodbeck (Denny) and brother John Golightly. We will always remember Cathi's most generous and loving spirit and her beautiful smile. The family extends a special thanks to the Vitas Hospice Team 169 at the University of Miami Hospital, for their compassionate care of Cathi in her final days. A private service will be held per Cathi’s wishes. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Vitas Hospice Team 169.
