Negro querido... trascurrido un año de tu partida, todavia me cuesta creer que ya no estás. Fuiste una gran alegria para nuestra familia, un derroche de cariño y simpatía. Hoy tu recuerdo nos roba una sonrisa y nos llena de añoranza. Solo quiero expresar mi gratitud por tu vida, que aunque corta enriqueció las nuestras.

I was just coming back from a trip overseas on Jan 2nd 2024, got home/passed the border control and I had a momentary lapse of the last year of 2023 and what had transpired. First thought was;  "oh man it's already been a year without him."
Time flies, live the life you have to for those who might be watching all of it right over your shoulder.

My husband and I were regulars at Hospters!! Cesar lit up the bar every time we were there!! He had a way of making us feel like we were the most important people there!! We only went because of him!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Casal and family, 
Please accept our heartfelt condolences  for the loss of dear Cesar.  We pray to God that his soul Rests in Peace and give you strength to bear the loss.  
We have fond memories of our children growing up together in West Windsor, New Jersey.  Cesar’s lively smile and warm personality will be greatly missed.

Even though we lost touch around 2008 I frequently have memories of all the shenanigans we would get into.

RIP my old friend, you will forever be in my memories.

Cesar and I worked at Hopsters together. I was an assistant brewer. Our common conversation was anything about Star Wars.  Sufficed to say working at a brew pub that let's the public come and brew and then 2 weeks later bottle their beer can be and was very hectic at times.  I recall more than once Cesar talking me off of a metaphorical cliff before I lost it.  His banter and cynical/snarky/silly humor and leader like bartender abilities always brought me back into focus.  I departed hopsters May 2016, he moved back to FL. He would text me randomly and vice versa.  The pandemic hit along with that lock down.  We still kept in touch via whassapp. That is when I finally saw and heard him play guitar.  So good and soulful he was.  One of those summers I was growing a lot of different plants and herbs. Two of them being hops and cannabis. His response to that was literally. "You're my hero", so Cesar.  The journey of life only presents you with a handful of characters like Cesar and when they r gone here on this plane of existence life feels a little hollow for a bit. Until you realize he wouldn't want people to be bummed out and that now his essence is everywhere at once.  Miss you man,  God bless, peace and love to your family, friends, cohorts etc.  I'll see you on the flip side.  Mark W. Slater

   Nos duele y acongoja mucho la partida de César tan joven. Humanamente no entendemos. Dios sabe más y el por qué.  Hoy empezamos un triduo de Misa en la Catedral (Beto canta en las Misas).
   Rezamos por su alma y paz eterna en el cielo, fortaleza para ustedes y toda la familia. 
   Los caminos de Dios muchas veces nos parecen incomprensibles pero la fe nos hace confiar que Él prepara los mejores para nosotros.

Cesar - You were family to me, and I sometimes forgot we weren’t really “cousins.” . Since you were a just a kid, you were an angel with a huge heart, a sensitive soul, an amazing sense of humor, a strong passion for music, and a deep understanding of what truly mattered in life. You are  the most selfless and caring person I’ve ever known — checking on me even when YOU were the one in the hospital. I can’t believe you’re gone. I love you so much.

Negger, se que te sentis bien ya y ese es mi consuelo. Aunque me duela tan tempranera partida, pero era evidente que Dios ya te quería cerca suyo. Te voy a extrañar, te cuento que desde hace días me llueven recuerdos de cuando éramos chicos y se que más adelante vamos a volver a ser los trillizos. Cuidales mucho a tu mamá y papá, al Gordo y Susana también. Te pido por favor que le abraces a tu tía Perla y tío Víctor de mi parte. Pedimos a Dios Todo Poderoso lo reciba en Su Reino, y que la Virgen lo colme de su maternal cariño a este Nuestro Primo Querido que siempre nos brindó si eterna sonrisa, buen humor, espontaneidad, nobleza, y afecto.
Imagino la dicha de abuelo Cesar al verlo llegar.

No hay palabras que puedan expresar fielmente el dolor por la pérdida del Negro, solo podemos abrazar la esperanza de que él ya esta en brazos de Jesús, disfrutando de la vida eterna e intersediendo por todos nosotros. Hernnando, Rosa del Mar y los chicos les damos nuestros más sentidos pésames y los abrazamos en la distancia.
