Charles David Carter

March 4, 1950 – September 11, 2021

Charles David Carter, age 71 of Miami, Florida, passed Saturday, September 11th due to complications of COPD. He served in the United States Marine Corps, Miami Dade Police, and Attorney General’s office with dignity and pride. Dave set a standard of leadership and fatherhood and inspired many throughout his lifetime. He was a dedicated husband and soulmate to Maria T. Lafuente Carter, and proud father to Travis Carter, Chris Carter, Sarabeth Carter, Kevin Carter, Pablo Lafuente, and Danny Lafuente. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by a brother, three sisters-in-law, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Dave was a talented “grill master”, enjoyed family road trips, history, and spending time with loved ones. He will be remembered for his strength, honor, sense of humor, and love.

The Lord has now gained another Angel in His kingdom as Dave has ascended into heaven, hand-in-hand with Jesus Christ.

A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33135. There will be a funeral service Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 9:45am at Woodlawn Park North Cemetery 3260 S.W. 8th street, Miami, Fl 33135.
