Dear mom,
You are the most dedicated mother I know.  You and dad moved to the United States so you can provide your children better education, better opportunities for a better life. 
You had faced and overcame many challenges when we moved to the United States because you didn’t speak any English or Spanish when we first arrived to the U.S.
You managed to learned a bit of English and Spanish on your own and you made sure your family is always well cared for. Even with the language barrier, you made many life long friends over the years.
Every time I think of you, my heart fills with pride, and though I will always miss you, I know you will be by my side. In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and in rain, I know you will be watching over your family until we meet again.

Dear Grandma,
It feels like yesterday we were all driving to your house for dinner, meals that you made with so much love and pride. Your house always smelled delicious. I remember Grandpa folding wontons at the small table. Alexis and I did a lot of homework at that table too. I miss being all together. 

It brings me peace to know you are with Dad and Grandpa again. I will think of you often and will keep these fond memories forever. Thank you for all your love.
