I will always remember my friend Christine, ❤️ I will always miss you

As I remember we came to visit you on our birthday Janice & myself not knowing this would be the last time I would see you.  We washed your feet as Jesus did his disciples this gave us joy and you as well.  We miss you our prayers go up continuously for your loved ones you left behind.  Sleep on our Sweet Christine 🙏🏾❤️😇

More than 30 years ago, Christine and my brother, Norman were married. During her initial visit to Connecticut with Norman, our beloved father, Mr. Vivian Minott passed away. Christine consoled me during this difficult time. She became more than a sister- in -law, she became my friend. Through the years our friendship grew.

A few months ago, in a relatively short period of time, my brothers Norman, Robert and I suffered the loss of three ladies who were dear to us. We lost our dear beloved mother, Lucille Minott. Loosing our mother still pains me.  Shortly after, our lovely aunt Louise Smith passed. And now, we've lost yet another family member; my brother Norman lost his beloved wife Christine. 

Although Christine was ill and often in pain, she gave encouragement regarding loosing my mother and aunt. This speaks to her care, compassion and her beautiful spirit. Christine was loving and kind and cared for her family deeply. 

Not that long ago we spoke about enjoying our birthdays. Christine encouraged me to do so because ,as we know, tomorrow is not promised. We almost share the same birthday, only two days apart.  Looking back in time, I'm reminded just how much more we had in common.

I am grateful to have had a sister -in- law with such a warm, compassionate and unselfish spirit. Christine's quiet, meek caring ways will be greatly missed.

Christine will be sadly missed by my brother Norman and their children, Tiffany,Sean, Shane and grandchild Sorya; also by her two stepson's and step-grandchildren: Norman Minott, Jr., and his daughter, Ashantee; Andre Minott, (Alicia) and sons Jayce and Jaylen. Christine will be sadly missed by the Bhagwandin family, myself and extended Minott family and friends. We will cherish in our own way fond memories of Christine.

So until the Lords day when there will be no more death, sorrow or tears, illness or pain, rest in peace my dear Christine, sister- in -law/ friend

I would like to thank everyone for your support and love that you have shown my family and I in these challenging times. My heart is broken and I am devastated from the passing of my Queen, my wife, my friend Christine, the mother of my 3 kids Tiffany, Sean and Shane Minott and our adorable granddaughter Soraya Minott. She was also a great mother to my other kids Norman Jr and Andre Minott and grandmother to Ashantee, Jayce and Jaylen Minott. My wife was a super woman with a great personality and smile. She was my everything. Unfortunately, Christine has been struggling with an incurable disease for over 20 years and on January 7, 2021 she lost the battle while in the hospital. She will be deeply missed by our family, myself and by others who had the opportunity and pleasure of her acquaintance. Christine is at peace now. No more suffering, pain or crying. She is now at peace in the kingdom and Glory of God.
Life will never be the same without my beautiful Queen and amazing wife. You left behind a legacy with lots of great memories that will last for a life time. Memories with you are engraved in my heart and I will cherish them for the rest of my life. Christine, until we meet again my love, I love you now and forever. We shared 35 precious years together that I will never forget. This year would have been 36 years. I love you so much and my heart bleeds for you every day since you’ve been gone.

Christine became a closely endeared family member of ours through her sister Sandra and our son Paul. Her influence as an excellent role-model wife, mother, devoted family member and friend brought a blessing and much happiness to everyone.

We recall with much fondness, the many get-togethers and festivities hosted by Sandra and Paul, which Christine always contributed gastronomic delights of her cooking and baking expertise. The large gathering of attendees at birthday parties, holiday parties and especially Christmas dinner parties will long treasure those happy memories shared with Christine.

I'm thinking back to the first time I met Christine at Christ the King waiting for our daughter's  at Pre-School, the name "Tiffany" was called out and both girls Tiffany Minott and Tiffany Cratit answered, we were instantly connected. I often joked with my lovely sister "Chris" about her perfection to clean her house, we laughed a lot, watched our children grow, attended birthday parties, stressed out over school projects, and now feel proud of the young adults they have become.
