Clara Hagarty

Hagarty, Clara Leinhauser, 95, of Miami passed away Friday May 4th surrounded by her loving family. She served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. In 1958, she moved to Miami with her husband, John and 4 children. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, traveling, swimming, watching sports, and spending time with her family and special nephews and nieces, whom she loved dearly. As a SPAR, she enjoyed traveling all around the country attending reunions with her Coast Guard family. Recently she made a trip to Washington DC for an Honor Flight. She was a member of the American Legion Post 98, where she served as Chaplin.

Preceded in death by her husband, John. Survived by her children Steve (Patricia), Jim, Jean (Robert) and Bill. Grandchildren Melissa, Danny, Wolfgang and Michelle.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brendan Catholic Church Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the chapel, located at 8725 SW 32 street, Miami.

With interment at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery at 1:00 pm located at 11411 NW 25 Street, Miami.
