Conchita was born in Cuba to Spanish immigrants. She had two wonderful brothers who served as her role models, and whose spouses and children enriched her life and became part of her extended family.
She was married to Nelson Caballero for 46 years with whom she had two daughters, Patricia and Christina, both of whom married men who Conchita (and Nelson) “adopted” as their own. She went on to have four grandchildren, Julia and Amelia (Patricia’s children) and Nicolas and Lukas (Christina’s children). Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and her pride and joy… she called them her most precious gifts.
Conchita was blessed to have made many wonderful friends over her years living in New York, Caracas and Miami. She enjoyed al life well-lived surrounded by genuine and loving family and friends, and we are all grateful to have been a part of her journey.
Conchita is survived by:
Daughter Patricia and her husband Don Lisco and their children Julia and Amelia.
Daughter: Christina and her husband Carlos Arrieta and their children Nicolas and Lukas
Brother Felix Fernandez
She is also survived but dozens and dozens of friends and relatives whose lives she touched over her 76 years on this planet.
Rest in Peace Conchasan. Mami. Yaya.
