I'm so sorry, that's not fair. Rest in peace beautiful soul. A hug to her sister from another big sister.

I just watched her episode on Intervention and was scrolling through the comments when I saw one that stated that Courtney passed away. I am so sorry for this. She was such a beautiful young woman with so much ahead of her. I hope that she is resting in peace. Truly hearbreaking.

It’s August 2025 and I just watched the abbreviated episode as A&E is not running her episode. I saw just enough to be absolutely heartbroken. What a tragedy life can be. She still helping people and she won’t be forgotten. Rest in Paradise sweet girl.

i never personally knew her but i found her story online and I'm so sorry for all her and the family has been through. I'm a recovering addict and I understand how addiction takes everything. she didn't deserve that life and her family didn't deserve to see her go through that and coexist with such severe struggles. sending my best wishes, I'm sure shes in a better place looking down

My precious darling Courtney- I miss you so much and I always will. I will see you some day soon my beautiful daughter. You live in my heart every second of every day. Love, Mommy 🙏

Hi Charlene, I just wanted to ask, how are you? I send you my best wishes. You're an incredible human being.

hi, i know she passed 4 almost 5 years ago but I'm so sorry. her story truly inspired so many people. and just because she isn't with us anymore does not mean she's still not inspiring many people till this day. i never had the chance to meet her, but i heard her story and it touched me. she had such a bright future, and it's sad she can't live up to it. and to her family im sorry for your lost, and i hope you all doing okay and getting through everything. she's resting in beautiful heaven now, and she's watching over all of you.

I just got done watching a&e intervention on YouTube and I watched the season and episode where Courtney was on it and her story and her journey of path was very touching to me I wanted to know how she was doing as of now and her obituary popped up. I send my deepest condolences and send prayers for the family it is not easy loosing a loved one especially a loved one that was close to the heart ❤️ may she Rest In Paradise and finally be at Peace 🧡

Charlene . . . my dear friend . . something made me think of you today so I searched for you and came upon this. I'm so so sorry to learn about Courtney and I'm praying for you so much right now. She was such a beautiful child and I remember how fiercely you loved her!! Please know I am thinking of you and wishing you strength.

Courtney’s baby boy Teddy now 9 years old and she got him when he was 6 months old. She was so incredibly in love with her baby boy Teddy.

I'm so sorry for the family on the anniversary of Courtney's death. I still see her in episodes of "Intervention" and think of her often. I guess I feel a connection with her because I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic, now 13 years sober. I was one of the lucky ones. I'm sending the family hugs and lots of prayers on this day. RIP Courtney.

I recently saw the episode and I cried a lot even without knowing her all my condolences and love to the family
Andrea

Charlene, I watched Courtney's Intervention episode the other day. Let me just say how sorry I am about your loss. Take care of yourself and know she's with the angels now.

My best friend…a fellow RN died from a heroin OD. I was sooo angry at him. I miss him so much.
It’s a disease analogous to diabetes…cancer. It’s not chosen.
I just watched the episode. She looks exactly like my ex-gf back in the college days. Such a beautiful girl. She seemed to radiate a kind and sweet presence.
I am so so darn sorry…

Hello,
I just finished watching Courtney’s episode and looked to see if there were any updates, which led me here. I am absolutely heartbroken for your family. I am so sorry. I feel such sadness that her sister lost her only sister and sibling, especially when they had such a strong bond. I think of you ever look back at the episode you will see you did everything humanly possible to show your love and concern for Courtney and to get her the help she so desperately needed. I am so sorry for your loss. I was rooting her and hope of for a much different outcome.

Shannon

A rerun of her episode led me here. Please accept my belated condolences. How are Kim and Courtney's grandmother?

hi, i have just recently watched Courtney’s episode. i could see how hard you all tried to help her, how much she tried, i just wish you all the best. its such a sad and scary thing to go though and you and you’re family are so strong. rest in peace Courtney. Sending lots of love and hope to your family. ❤️

Saw her on Intervention as well, wondered what happened to her, sadly found my way here. My condolences, Joanne

I watched Courtney’s episode back when I was in high school and still think of her. I just wanted to check to see if there was any updates im so saddened to hear of her loss. My condolences to you. RIP angel.

I, too, watched Courtney's episode the other day, and wanted to say how sorry I was to hear of her passing. I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic, now 11 years sober. Watching Intervention episodes keeps me on the straight and narrow. It gives me hope for so many. Sadly, not for Courtney. I'm so sorry.

Just watched her episode 😭 and thought I would check up on Courtney, such a tragic ending 😔 I am so sorry for all involved

God Bless her soul

Hi Charlene I just wanted to tell you that you were an amazing mother, you are really strong stronger than you think. Do everything possible to help her, you loved your daughter until her last day of life and you still do. Please try to be happy and find peace. I know Courtney from heaven wants you to be happy.🖤🖤🖤

I never met you Courtney but I have felt your pain. I hope the small peace of knowing that you are no longer in the torments of addiction can ease some of the pain your family has endured. You were a little girl stuck in the body of a young adult just seeking love and validation in all the wrong places. I am coming up on two years sober and each addict that I take through the AA Big Book I do it with the strength and passion I get from the memories of so many that have passed from this horrible disease.
God bless!
Julia B

Dear Courtney,
Saw your story many years ago and it resonated deep in my heart. You were so beautiful and the love you shared with your sister was the most beautiful sister bond I've ever seen. I'm so sad to know you are no longer with us. I wish your loved ones and family peace, and most of all I hope you are at peace as you shine on in Heaven.

My precious baby girl Courtney, I miss you so much sweetheart and I love you so much forever and you always have my heart. Mommy

Thank you for blessing me with your presence for the short time you were here. Your beauty and confidence lit the path you trailed and turned obscurity into revelation. You were a go getter with the drive and passion of a of a stallion. We had great times together and I thought I could bring you into my world and pull you out but my strength was not enough and I felt I had failed you. I now live a path of helping people, best to my ability. Hopefully the memories we shared brought solence when you were in despair. I had to move on with my life and im sorry I couldnt come back for you. If I knew- I wouldve kidnapped you and did everything I could to heal you. Ill always miss you.

Ps. Tell god that im trying my best to live a righteous life and to forgive me for my sins as I know youre with him. Please look out for your family from heaven and those weak ones you met along the way, as your strength was surely enough to give courage to the weak. Dont worry about me, Im a warrior and survivor who will always keep going forward.

To the family members:

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you. Your daughter, sister, niece, cousin, relative was not her at her worst. She was her at her best. A funny, charming witty fire in a bottle. She was compassionate and driven and one of gods greatest creations. She was kind and firm who always tried to help other people even if when she couldnt. She had a good heart, and was without evil or malice. Good bye Courtney, I/we will see you on the other side

Take care baby girl, your td:
Tony

I was in credit recovery with her in high school. I really liked her. Back then I didn't know about her addictions. I'm very sorry she passed- I tried to look her up and contact her. Rest in peace, Courtney.

Courtney,
I remember when Susie, Brittany, and I would pick you up on Sunday mornings and take you to the beach with us. We had such a good time remembering old times, you sipping on your wine cooler, and me sneaking my Scotch and smoking my cigar. We enjoyed those moments tremendously and will cherish them forever. I know Susie loved you unconditionally and always held the most special place in her heart just for you. Your passing has left a big hole in everyone's life, and we sincerely hope that God will grant you the eternal rest and peace that you are so deserving of. We will love you and keep you in our hearts forever.
Uncle Frank, Susie, Frankie, and Brittany.

My darling precious baby girl Courtney Renee was and still is the kindest most loving angel anyone has ever known or will ever know. She was special from the day she was conceived. Courtney was planned because her sissy Kimberly at the age of 8 begged me to have a sister for her. We bought all pink lace baby clothes the day we found out l was pregnant even though we had no idea for sure it was a girl but me and Kimberly just knew. Courtney was loved dearly by each and every person she ever met. She had the sweetest biggest smile I’ve ever seen. She loved her baby dog Teddy so much. She was a wonderful mother to him while she was able to but she realized she couldn’t take care of him and asked me
to watch him. She gave me the greatest gift of my life because he is
part of her and I have her with me through Teddy everyday. I love
Courtney with all my heart and soul and my entire being forever
and ever until we can meet again in gods paradise.
