Dolores Guaida
Dolores Guaida, affectionately known as Lola, of Gillette, NJ passed away at Autumn Lake on March 12, 2023, at the age of 95.
Dolores was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, the daughter of Maria and Ramon Carvajales. She came to the United States in 1960 where she remained a resident of Miami Springs, FL until moving to Gillette, NJ, where she had resided since 1995.
Dolores was a loving wife, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed reading and going out to dinner and to the theater with friends, but her greatest love was for her family.
Dolores was pre-deceased in 1975 by her beloved husband, Jose Guaida. She is survived by her loving brother, Robert of Gillette, her cherished nieces, Mirta Morlino and her husband, Bruce Morlino of Warren, Mayra Conrad and her husband, Dylan of Indiana, her beloved, deceased nephew and Godson’s (Robert) spouse, Rose Carvajales. Dolores is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
There will be a private viewing at Ippolito Funeral Home in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
The visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Funeral Home, located at
8200 Bird Road, Miami on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A mass will be held at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Noon followed by the Burial at Flagler Memorial Park in Miami, FL.
