Edelmira resided in Miami, Florida.

She is survived by her daughter, Adela Mills, her son, Rene Lopez Jr., four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Caballero Rivero Sunset, located at 7355 SW 117 Ave., Miami, Florida, 33183, on January 25, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
