Elizabeth is remembered as a beloved presence whose loyalty to those she cared for never wavered. With a selfless spirit and steady courage, she met life’s demands with quiet bravery and left an enduring mark on the people who were fortunate to know her.
A nurse back home in Cuba, Elizabeth devoted herself to caring for others with dignity and purpose. That same commitment carried into every part of her life, expressed through a willingness to help whenever she was needed and a strength that inspired those around her.
Elizabeth also found joy in singing, offering warmth and comfort through her voice and her company. In simple, meaningful ways, she lifted others—through kindness, presence, and the example of a life lived in service.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Hernandez; her mother, Elsida Estrabao; her son in law, Alain Turnez; her significant other, Lazaro Fong; and her grandchildren, Karinna Turnez and Alanis Turnez.
Elizabeth resided in Palmetto Bay, Florida. Her memory will be held with deep respect and lasting gratitude by all who loved her.
