It is with great love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Emma Maria Martin, who departed this life on August 24, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Cuba, Emma built a life centered around family, love, and generosity.

She was the cherished matriarch of her family, known for her strength, wisdom, and boundless compassion. Emma went above and beyond for those she loved—and even for those she had only just met. She brought people together with her warmth, her wise counsel, and her unforgettable cooking, always ensuring everyone felt cared for and nourished.

Emma is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Barbara, Frank, Devynn Martin, and Christopher Cata; her great-grandchildren, Benjamin Corea, Elena, Lucas, and Alexander Martin; her daughter-in-law, Mayra Martin; her dear siblings, Juan, Elsa, and Gladys, and her sister in law Magaly Martin Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A funeral service to honor Emma’s life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 177th Ave, Miami, FL 33187.

Emma’s love, guidance, and spirit will forever remain with her family.
