Ernesto A. Vendrell

On Saturday, April 9, 2022, Ernesto A. Vendrell, recent widow, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away after a short illness at the age of 94 years. For 70 years, Ernesto had been married to his childhood sweetheart, Oneida, who left to be with the Lord in June of 2021. Ernesto will be forever remembered by his two daughters, Ann and Lourdes, his two sons, Ernest and Joaquin, his granddaughters Monica and Nicole, his grandsons David, Daniel, Christopher, and Eric, as well as his great-grandchildren Miles, Emma, Elizabeth, Hailey, Emilia, Isabella, and Isla.

As a retired pastor, Ernesto’s life was a faithful example of compassion, kindness, and godly strength. He was a man of strong faith, who cared deeply for his family and others. He will be cherished by his extended family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 SW 40th Street, Miami, Florida 33155. The internment will take place the following day at 11:00 am at Miami Memorial Park, 6200 SW 77th Avenue, Miami, Florida.
