Estrella Perea, a beloved, cherished, compassionate, devoted, generous, hard-working, honest, resilient, thoughtful, inspirational, and selfless woman, passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 96. Born January 6, 1930, in Cuba, Estrella later made her home in Miami, Florida, where she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Estrella devoted 39 years to the love of her life, Gaspar Perea (Spouse), who preceded her in death. Her life was rooted in family, and she carried herself with steady devotion and care that those closest to her will remember always.
Estrella is survived by her daughters, Lidia Perea and Leonor Balsera; and her grandson, Juan Carlos Balsera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaspar Perea (Spouse), and her sister, Teresa Funtes.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 BIRD RD, MIAMI, FL 33155, on March 10, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Caballero Rivero Dade South, 14200 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186, on March 11, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
