

She was born on December 24, 1931 in Tunapuna, Trinidad. Her parents were Carl Olga Miller and Lawrence Aleong. She lived most of her life in Trinidad and migrated to Miami in 1997. At the age of 69 she was the oldest student to ever enroll in the Medical Assistant Program at Miami Dade College.
Euclid began her working life in the government service of Trinidad and Tobago after which she joined Barclays Bank as a stenographer. She remained with the bank after it became Republic Bank of Trinidad and Tobago moving up the ranks to branch manager and then found most fulfillment in the staff training function of the bank.
She loved dogs, learning and traveling and had many interests including the arts, photography, and gardening. Much of her time before and after retirement was as caregiver to her mother, mother-in-law, and husband before their respective deaths.
Euclid is survived by her daughter, Michele Raymond; her sister Beverley Aleong; and cousins in the US, Trinidad, and other parts of the Caribbean, and in the UK.
The viewing and celebration service for Euclid’s life will be held on Tuesday August 17, 2021 starting at 12:15 at the address below.
