For 56 years, Papu shared a devoted marriage with the love of his life, Querube Tapia. Above all, Papu loved his family—faithfully, wholeheartedly, and without reservation.

Papu is survived by his beloved spouse, Querube Tapia; his son, Felipe S Tapia III; his daughter-in-law, Kimberly Tapia; his daughter, Isabelle Keeslar; his son in law, Erik Keeslar; his daughter, Griselle; his son in law, Dr. Nik Pyrsopolous; and 6 grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
