

Fernanda Elisa Guerrero Reyes, age 75, of Iquique, Chile, passed away on August 17, 2023, in Miami, Florida. She was born on May 29, 1948, and was a beloved mother of five and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Walton and his wife Lorena, Fernando and his wife Tamara, Paola and her husband Marcos B., Karen, and Cristian and his wife Terri, as well as their father, Carlos Walton Guerrero.
Along with her children, Fernanda’s legacy also lives on in her 22 grandchildren—Daniel A., David, Vanessa, Diego, Kristelle, Diana, Christopher, Stephanie, Christine, Daniel Alejandro, Nicholas Ignacio, Marcos Antonio, Christina Paulina, Carolina Paula, Alexandehr, Christopher, Catherine Deborah, Jared Anthony, Jordan, Alexis, Kenzie, and Nicholas Austin—and 6 great-grandchildren—Jahson, Javian, Jarian, Elija, Kevin Jr., and Cléo Eve.
Fernanda was a woman of many interests and passions, and, most noticeably, a fount of knowledge. Her intellectual pursuits included philosophy, psychology, and astronomy, of which she could discuss each topic for hours on end. She also held a deep love for animals, going out of her way to provide shelter and comfort for all kinds of species, from dogs to squirrels. Fernanda also enjoyed traveling and was always eager to explore new places—the world truly was her very own oyster. She had many friends and truly enjoyed helping people, positively touching so many lives with her contagious smile, brilliance, and light.
To know Fernanda is to love Fernanda.
A wake service will be held on Friday, September 1, from 6 PM to 10 PM.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 2, at 12 PM at Instituto Santiago Aranegui, 7945 NW 2nd Street, Miami, FL 33126.
It will then be followed by a funeral service at 2 PM. The burial will take place at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South cemetery, located at 11655 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, FL 33186.

Fernanda will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she had touched. May her soul rest in peace.
