Frances Santos Miranda, age 86, passed away in Miami, Florida after a long history of Alzheimer's. Her husband of 41 years, Juan Miranda, has always been at her side. Many will remember her for her love of singing "En Mi Viejo San Juan," which was her birthplace. Frances was very proud of her birthplace. When ask of her heritage, She would respond with: "Soy Boricua naci en San Juan Puerto Rico!" and she would say this with power and pride.
Frances traveled from Puerto Rico to New York, to California, and to her final resting place Miami, Florida.
Survivors include: husband, Juan (Tin) Miranda, daughter, Margie, grandchildren, Erik and Melanie, great grandchildren, and brothers and sisters.
