

A longtime resident of Miami, Florida, Gloria will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the many cherished memories she shared with her family and friends. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
After leaving Cuba, she earned a Master of Arts degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, reflecting her lifelong commitment to education and personal growth. Gloria dedicated 45 years of her life to education, serving as a respected educator in Chicago before continuing her career in Miami, where she inspired generations of students through her commitment to learning and excellence. She was instrumental in helping numerous individuals and families assimilate into their new lives in the United States while pursuing the American Dream. Her generosity, guidance, and unwavering support made a lasting difference in the lives of many.
Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felino Sanchez; her cherished nephew, Jorge Luis Rodriguez (Connie); her parents, Julio Luis Rodriguez Rivero and Maria de Jesus Galvez Orue; and her brother, Julio Cesar Rodriguez (Milagros Jacobo).
She is survived by her loving nephews, Julio Rodriguez (Maria)and John Rodriguez (Dianne); her loving niece, Maria Guerrero (Vince); her beloved grandniece, Elizabeth; and her cherished grandnephews, Daniel, Jorge, Vincent, Alex, Julio Andres, and David, all of whom will forever cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155.
The Committal Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Memorial Plan at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 6200 SW 77th Avenue, Miami, FL 33143.
