Guadalupe Emperatriz Javier

Guadalupe “Emperatriz” Javier, 74, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 30, 2025. Born on December 20, 1950, in Valverde Mao, Dominican Republic, she spent most of her life in Miami’s Allapattah neighborhood. A God-fearing woman full of joy, she was deeply devoted to her family, community, and church.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-three years, Nelson Javier; her three sons, Cristian, Nelson “Ariel,” and Jonathan Javier; seven cherished grandchildren; four sisters; additional siblings in the Dominican Republic; and many nieces and nephews in the United States. She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Bernardo Martinez, and her brother-in-law, Nestor Nuñez, Sr.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 5:00–10:00 p.m. at Caballero Rivero Little Havana Funeral Home, 3344 SW 8 St., Miami, FL 33135. A burial service will follow on Monday, September 8, 2025, departing the funeral home at 12:00 pm and burial will be at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West, 14001 NW 178 St., Hialeah Gardens, FL 33018 at 1:00 p.m

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to family, and her joyful spirit.

Guadalupe “Emperatriz” Javier, de 74 años, residente de Miami, Florida, falleció pacíficamente de causas naturales el 31 de agosto de 2025. Nació el 20 de diciembre de 1950 en Valverde Mao, República Dominicana, y pasó la mayor parte de su vida en el vecindario de Allapattah en Miami. Mujer temerosa de Dios y llena de alegría, estuvo profundamente dedicada a su familia, su comunidad, y iglesia.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo de cincuenta y tres años, Nelson Javier; sus tres hijos, Cristian, Nelson “Ariel” y Jonathan Javier; siete queridos nietos; cuatro hermanas; otros hermanos en la República Dominicana; y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas en los Estados Unidos. Le precedieron en la muerte su hermano mayor, Bernardo Martínez, y su cuñado, Néstor Núñez, Sr.

La velación se llevará a cabo el domingo, 7 de septiembre de 2025, de 5:00 a 10:00 p.m. en Caballero Rivero Little Havana Funeral Home, 3344 SW 8 St., Miami, FL 33135. El sepelio tendrá lugar el lunes, 8 de septiembre de 2025, saliendo de la funeraria a las
