I will never forget the first time I met Jack. I told my cousin Lucy “I love him”! He was so fun, loving and mingled with everyone no matter what age. They married soon after and they were always the life of the party’s!! They loved to dance!! Jack and I always took a few moments to chat. He never failed to tell me how happy he was and how lucky he was to have met my cousin. He would always say he won the lotto the day he met her. What an amazing man. I will miss him dearly at all our family gatherings.

there’s so much to thank you for so many things , but I would like to start by thanking you for being part of my sister‘s life 
You know, I love my sister Lucy very much ! and I always say to you to take care of her not matter what !!now that you are with my sweet Jesus I know you will be more closer to Lucy than ever I know this

Jack was one of a kind! He was Manager of our buildings,  when I was.  on the Board. Somehow his sense of humor kept much of the hostility at bay.
When he fell in love with Lucy…. He showed her off to all of us. He had stars in his eyes all the time. And I loved it when he bought her to our parties to share her off to us!
He was a good friend to me and convinced me to get a maltipoo from St. Louis. Daisy Mae loved him as did I.

Jack Weinkoff was an incredible partner to my sister and fit into our family perfectly. To me, we felt like brothers from the second my sister started dating him. He was warm, kind, and always ready to have a good time. With love, Teresa, Russ and family.

We will all miss Jack. He was so full of life and fun loving. Jack made me feel so at home in his presence and boy did he love to dance.  Cherish the memories you two shared. And I know that he truly loved you.

Writing one memory about Jack is nearly impossible, but what I will share is how he has impacted my life. When I first started working with Jack at Haagen Dazs, I was 16 and was going through some very difficult times. Jack was there for me every day for the next 10 years. At first, I was scared of his energy, he was constantly going like an energizer bunny, but now I see how that served him so well in life. He made time every day to eat well (a head of broccoli included), walk several miles, golf, take care of himself, and make it to his meetings. His laugh was contagious. Every morning we split a scooped-out bagel from Bagel Boss as he shared his bits of knowledge with me. At the time, the advice didn’t always make sense to me but, as I grew older I was better able to understand some of these sayings. He would share things like “walk every day”, “never get elective surgery”, and “women should always wear lipstick” as well as other random tidbits. But that was not what was really important, it was the bond that we were shared and the relationship we built. He was the most reliable and dependable person in my life. Jack danced with me at my wedding because he was the Dad I was missing at the time. When he sold the store and moved to Florida, I felt like a piece of me was taken away. I don’t know if Jack realized how many lives he truly touched, but I know this is to be the truth.  I don’t know where I would be without his love and support. In January of 2022, my daughter Lauren and I went to Florida to see Jack and meet Lucy. As soon as he held me in his arms, I felt like I was home and that no time had passed. I’m so glad that I was able to spend time with him and that Lauren was able to meet both of them. We had a lovely dinner laughing and sharing all our stories that night. I miss him so much already and I will always have a special place in my heart for Jack, may he rest in peace. 	

Jack was such a positive light. Always wore a smile, ready for a good joke and had a great attitude that lit up a room wherever he went. He will be sorely missed.

My Dear Friend and Brother (from another Mother), for almost 20 years I never had a worry because Action JACKson was with me. Now I see how tough things can be without you here. I miss you a lot! I’ll miss your laugh. I’ll miss your attitude. I’ll miss your red sneakers.  Most of all, I’ll miss how you made everyone feel good in a room because you were in it with us.  Rest in Peace my friend. You will always be loved!
