

Jacobo Antonio Delvalle, 82 died September 13, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family and
guided by the Holy Spirit. Jacobo passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his wife (Nora
Delvalle) and his family. Jacobo was a strong, intelligent, courageous, passionate, charming and
boisterous man. He lived his life to the fullest and was able to make connections all over the
world. He always saw the good in people and was one to give second chances. He was someone
you could always rely on to be there for you at your best and worst. He was the life of the party
and the best dancer in the room. He will be deeply missed by his family but never forgotten.
Jacobo was born July 15,1942 in Cartagena, Colombia, the son of Aida Villarreal and Elias
Delvalle. He grew up in Cartagena, amongst his family and friends, up until about 1954, when he
moved to Miami, Florida, and attended Coral Gables Senior High School. Shortly after moving
to Miami, he met Marina R. Ramos. Jacobo married Marina Ramos in July 1961, and they had
two wonderful children, Jacobo Delvalle II and Adriana Mercedes Delvalle, and eventually four
grandchildren, Stephanie Anne Delvalle, Jacob Alexander Delvalle III, Victoria Mercedes
Alvarez, and Juan Elias Alvarez. Jacobo and Marina were divorced in 1977.
Jacobo was a business entrepreneur working with international services. In 2001, Jacobo met the
love of his life, Nora E. Peña in Aruba. Jacobo and Nora Delvalle were happily married in
September 2005. Jacobo and Nora had a beautiful marriage filled with love and admiration for
one another, and spent most of their time traveling around the world.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am along with
a small mass at Caballero Rivero Westchester (8200 Bird Rd [40th st.] Miami Fl 33155).
