This is from your oldest granddaughter, Evelyn.

My favorite memory of my Abuelo was when we went to North Carolina every year. It was always lots of fun. I will always remember all the amazing memory’s I had with him, he was amazing. I loved him so much, and I miss him. He’d always do his best to make sure we were happy, and were doing our best in school. He was always determined, no matter what. I still can’t believe that he’s gone, just like that. I know he left for a reason which none of us know yet, and that our God had a reason to take him. It was his time, even though I know we will all miss him so much. Abuelo, we love you, and always will. You will always be in our hearts. I will never forget you, and all the things you did for me, and Emily. Please always remember I will always love, and miss you.

Sincerely, your oldest grandchild

-Evelyn

My favorite memory of my father was when he used to make the hardest effort to take my family and I to Boone, NC. We would go every year to the point where it became a family tradition. He would do the most just to spend time with all of us and that includes all crazy shenanigans. Another favorite memory was when I used to fall asleep in between his legs as a baby and a child. My brother had his place on my dads chest and my sister would be under his arms. ❤️❤️
