It’s been a year… a year and everyday you have been in my thoughts. You never got to meet my son. Or see your god daughter grow up and Your daughter how beautiful she is and the little woman she’s becoming.. there’s still so much sadness. I pray and hope you’re with our Abuelas. With your father. We miss you Jorgito…. So much.

Tomorrow will be a year since God welcomed you into his kingdom and I still wake up asking myself if this is real. Your loss has left a hole that’s impossible to fill, although  we know your spirit is with us. Like when we see a boat.. the ocean… fish, or when a light flickers and we yell “JORGITO!”, + every time we hear Hotel California and Guns and Roses, and especially when Viv watches old baby videos of both of you playing. She loves hearing your voice…she misses it. I know you’re smiling and laughing with her and I know you’re so proud of her. Thank you for the signs, keep letting us know you’re there 💜 you’re incredibly missed.

To my wonderful tio jorgito who brought nothing but joy and laughter into my life words can’t even describe the pain I feel with you gone. I will always remember the fun times I had with you and the days we would spend in the pool at the old house. You were such an amazing tio to me and I remember how happy you were to tell people that your big princess made it into lourdes. I will never forget the first car ride I had with you when you got to pick me up from school the smile that you had was so bright and I was so happy I got to hangout with my tio or whenever I would walk into the pharmacy and run and give you a big hug. Thanks for the time you spend with our family. I will remember you for your positive attitude and great smile. I sent my family love to you and will remember you as a cousin and friend.

My sincere condolences to Jorge’s family and friends. 

My brother Marcelo and I went to St. Brendan and were friends with Jorge since we were 5 years old. We visited his house many times and even went on a cruise together.

Although we didn’t stay in touch in recent years, he was considered family for us, as is everyone from our early St. Brendan days.

Jorge was a genuinely nice person. He didn’t have a mean bone in his body, and the world greatly benefited from his existence. While it is an extremely tough loss for all who knew and loved him, God gained one of his very best angels back.

 Jorge lived his blessed and fulfilling life to the fullest, and his beautiful life should be celebrated. 

We will all miss him dearly, until the day comes where we are all reunited in heaven. Jorge, I will always remember your kind demeanor and you will live on in our memories. 

I love you bro and look forward to seeing you again on the other side.
