Jose was born in Cuba, and in 1962 he was flown to Miami through the project called Operation Pedro Pan.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa (Bill) Carlock and Julie K. Ayo; his granddaughter, Elise Carlock; his sisters, Bertha Ayo, Tere Ayo and Herminia Basulto; his nieces, Diana, Linda, Monique, Christina, Natalie, Teresita and Elena & Dianne and his nephew Karl.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 6 p.m., to Midnight at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 SW 40th Street, Miami, FL 33155.
