

Jose Cadi, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on February 25, 1941, Jose lived a life marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
A devoted husband and the proud father of three daughters, Jose was the heart of his family. To his grandchildren, he was simply the best—an Abuelo whose kindness, wisdom, and boundless love left a lasting mark on their lives. He was beyond caring, deeply empathetic, and known for his hardworking nature.
Jose had a passion for sports, particularly football, basketball, and tennis— a game he not only loved but played exceptionally well. He also found joy in simple pleasures, whether traveling the world or enjoying a good cigar.
Faith and service were central to Jose’s life. For 50 years, he was a dedicated member of Caballero Católico, actively helping his church and community. He also served as director of La Liga Contra el Cáncer, Latin Builders, AREL, and Kiwanis. His leadership was instrumental in founding the Kiwanis of Coral Gables – Latin chapter, a testament to his commitment to fostering service and philanthropy.
Passionate about his Cuban heritage, Jose participated in various associations advocating for the freedom of Cuba. His professional endeavors were equally impressive, spanning real estate, land development in North Carolina, telecommunications, and the travel industry.
Despite his many accomplishments, Jose’s greatest achievement was the life he built with love and compassion. A devoted husband, an exceptional father, and an extraordinary Abuelo, he placed his family above all else. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Jose Cadi’s presence will be deeply missed, but his love and influence will remain forever.
