It has been 2 weeks since I got the awful news, and even though I had not seen Luis in a few years, we spoke and texted frequently mostly about  our children and sometimes to argue politics, Luis would always push my buttons - and get a good laugh when I ended up yelling and hanging up. But never, never, never in a million years did I think a day would come when he would be gone and I am really undone in my heart. Our marriage, our children was the defining event in my life and despite our divorce, I always cherished our deep friendship and mutual love for our children and his input and emotional support for them. We were soulmates when it came to their well being and happiness. No one on earth felt the same as I do except for him and I am heartbroken that I no longer have this one person who I could share their lives with. No one will ever take his place and I just will miss him so much.  I'm just so sorry he wont be a part of their lives anymore, it's just too soon. I'd give anything to have just another minute to see him again.  God Bless You, Luis. Thank you for these wonderful children, I would do it all over again.
