Josefa Alvarez passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on November 4, 1927, in Cuba. Josefa lived a long and meaningful life in Miami, Florida. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends, especially her two sons, Alfredo Alvarez and Lorenzo Alvarez.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 12 noon at the Consolation Chapel at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172.
Following the ceremony, the Graveside Service will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172.
Josefa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
