In Loving Memory of Juan
It is with profound sadness that I share in the loss of Juan, my ex-husband and the cherished father of our children. Juan’s love and dedication as a father left an indelible mark on our family, shaping our children with his warmth, strength, and spirit. Though our paths diverged, the bond we shared through our children remains unbreakable, and his memory will forever live in their hearts and mine.
I join you all in honoring Juan’s life and the countless moments of joy he brought to those around him. May we find comfort in the love he gave so generously and in the memories we hold dear. Rest in peace, Juan.

After the longest and most difficult battle of all, our Papi is finally at peace. He left us on August 12, 2025, slipping away gently, surrounded by nothing but love. His journey through the hardships of illness was nothing short of remarkable—filled with courage, strength, and unshakable determination. He fought with every ounce of himself until his very last breath.

My dad lived by the words of what has become my most cherished poem:

“Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”
~ Dylan Thomas

And he truly did live by those words—meeting every obstacle head-on, refusing to give in, and pushing forward no matter how heavy the burden. Now, after a fight fought with every beat of his heart, he rests—free from pain, embraced by love.

Our Bull raged for as long as he could.
