

Juan José Chamah, age 73, of Hialeah, Florida, passed away January 6th 2026 at his home with his loving partner, Dania, of 20 years by his side. He was born to the late Miguel Chamah Fetué and Josephina Farré Chamah. He was born March 11th 1952 in Santiago dé Cuba.
Juan immigrated to the U.S by way of Spain in 1970. He spent much of his life in south Florida, but lived in many different places throughout his life, including Cuba, Puerto Rico, New York, Ohio, and finally Florida. Throughout his life, he was a business manager, feed store owner, farmer, corrections officer, among other things He lived a life full of adventure and he spent his time traveling, cooking, collecting Cuban currency, skydiving, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by Dania Mena (20 years), his brother Miguel (Aurora) Chamah, his 3 daughters Nicki Chamah, Dani (Jeff) Gray, Carmen (Cody) McGirr; 9 grandchildren: Makenzie Hughes, Michael Clarkson, Skylar Davis, Joel, Halle, Kerrigan, and Savannah Gray, Riley and Aibileen McGirr, nieces; Rosa Piñeiro Chamah, Barbara Piñeiro Chamah; many cousins and many other family and friends who loved him.
