To Flo and family,
We go back a long ways to the 1970's in Mobay. We had so much fun in the short two years we spent in Jamaica. What a blessing to stay in contact all these years. Unfortunately with covid jail we could not get together this year.
You and your family gave wonderful love and comfort to your life partner until his life's end,
Love Roy and Joan

So sorry i didnt have the information to attend the service. I was privileged to have had the Garcias as neighbors at Irwin in the early 70's.Mr Garcia wasnt the typical adult of the day where children should be seen and not heard.I remember him talking and showing interest not only in his children but to all the other children that came in contact with him.As a child i could have been 5or 6 i remembered him taking a car load of us to see the inside of a plane had it not for him i wouldn't be able to pass the waving gallery at that time also the various road trips, most of which were self invited in which he never turned anyone away as long there was space in the car.Mr Garcia has helped shape my siblings and myself to be the persons we have become. We always and will forever talk about Mr Garcia. Thanks for been our Hero.
The World has lost an Extraordinaire.
Mrs Garcia,Jj,Ricky,Mario and Miguel my Condolences and thanks for sharing Mr Garcia with us.

It was a pleasure to know and work with Juan for nearly 10 years. He was a very knowledgeable and thorough person that imparted his aviation knowledge on me. Such gestures were truly appreciated and will not be forgotten.

We go back a long, long way
Into the growing up memories of Montego Bay
You became a member of my 'fam',
You pointed me in the direction of Pan Am
You and Flo were always our friends
Tho'we lived in opposite ends
We visited each other in the U S and U K
Always lots of laughter and things to say
The British weather tho' he couldn't hack it
Our Summer, but he needed a fleece jacket
I know his children, he knew mine
Our friendship an unbroken line
The test if time it has withstood
Walk good Juan J, walk good !!!!

Uncle Juan:
As a very young child, I always thought that Uncle Juan seemed to be so very beloved within our MacDonald family. My mother was his 1st cousin and she’d share stories of his kindness and generosity to her. When his aunts and uncles spoke about him, it was always with such love, pride, and warmth. When he and his precious family would come to America from Jamaica for visits, my grandmother (his aunt) would polish, clean, cook, and bake for days in preparation.
I remember in my grandmother’s bedroom she kept a wedding photo of Uncle Juan and Aunt Flo in a beautiful silver frame. I have that precious keepsake in my home and have had it displayed for many years. I always admired Uncle Juan’s love and devotion to his dear wife and his four boys. I always thought how special it must have been to have been raised with a dad like him.
I loved Uncle Juan’s stories and how he’d act them out as he was telling them...& how he’d giggle at his own jokes. He used to remind me that when I was a little girl and came to Jamaica I insisted on putting ketchup on my white rice! He got such amusement out of my ‘pink rice’ and when I told him I still did it as an adult, he found it so funny! I can hear him laughing about it in my memory and I think about him every time I eat it!
Uncle Juan’s legacy is great- to raise four, good men...to be mourned by a wife who he loved and loves him...to have his grandchildren that he was so proud of...to have so many family members and friends who speak of him in the highest terms...I think that says it all! His loss in this world is profound, but I’m so grateful that because of Jesus we have heavenly reunions to look forward to!
I thank you the Lord for Uncle Juan’s life and will treasure every memory I have of him.

One of the kindest and patient person I have ever known. At the tender age of 18, I was able to work with him at the Miami Airport when I started in 1984. Years later, as I had matured and moved on and become a Captain with Cayman Airways, he never changed in his gentle but firm demeanor. I am grateful to have had him as a guiding light in my life, and learned many lessons that I did not know or understand at the time. Rest well my friend. Capt. Kris
