Juanita Aportela – Miami, FL (Nee Ventura) 86 – passed away suddenly November 6, 2015. Born in Dominican Republic, she came to New York City, NY in 1950, settled and raised her family in Union City, NJ before retiring in Miami, Fl.

Her beloved husband, Angel Aportela, predeceases her. She is the cherished mother of Ada & Essam Abed, Luis & Janice Aportela, Diana & Alex Enrique, Janet & Michael Rossi the late Abel Aportela. Also stepmother to Reina & Lazarita Aportela. The cherished grandmother of Amir, Iysha, Samir, Tyler, Dylan, Jennifer Marie, Jonathan, Alex Jr., Katherine, Michael Angelo, Steven Angel, Stephanie, Scarlette & Melissa. Great-grandmother of Joshua Hernandez. Beloved niece, Thelma Ventura. She is also survived by her sisters; Carmen Morado & Natividad

Ventura.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th at Caballero Rivero Sunset Funeral Home, Miami, FL. 4:00pm – 10:00pm. Interment will follow, Tuesday, November 10th at 10:00am, with funeral services immediately following at Graceland Memorial South.
