Justa del Carmen Acosta, age 85, of Coral Gables, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She was born on May 28, 1939, and leaves behind two beloved children who survive her. Justa was a brilliant and deeply thoughtful woman, admired for her intelligence and remarkable presence of mind.

To those who knew her, she was much more than strong—she was a warrior. Her children saw her as a fierce protector and guiding force, and friends and family alike were inspired by her courage, resilience, and quiet determination. Her strength lit the path for others, especially in moments of difficulty and change.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. An entombment will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL.

Nació el 28 de mayo de 1939 y deja atrás a sus dos hijos queridos, quienes la sobreviven. Justa fue una mujer profundamente inteligente, admirada por su mente aguda y su sabiduría serena.

Una velación en su honor se llevará a cabo el viernes 2 de mayo de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 10:00 p.m. en Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL. El entierro será el martes 6 de mayo de 2025 a las 2:00 p.m. en el cementerio Our Lady of Mercy, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL.
