Our beloved Mother, grandmother, Levine, also known as Leter, Aunty Leter, and Leonie, was a shining example of joy, faith, and kindness. Her heart was filled with love for God and everyone she met. Her signature phrase, "God is good," was more than just words - it was her way of life.
Levine's door was always open, and her listening ear was always available. She had a gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and loved. Whether she was sharing a cup of tea, a warm smile, or a comforting word, Levine had a way of making us feel like we were home.
Her backyard sanctuary was a reflection of her peaceful spirit - a place where love, laughter, and memories were made. After meeting Levine, you couldn't help but feel a little more loved, a little more inspired, and a little more grateful.
Our Dear Levine passed away on October 3, 2025, surrounded by the people she loved most. Born on August 12, 1944, in St. Andrew, Jamaica, to Nathaniel and Violet Thomas.
She is survived by her 2 children Veronica (Beverly) and Lorraine (Annette), Grandson - Jovani, stepdaughter - Donna Marie, and her cherished sister Geraldine Campbell ( Sister P), Brother in Law - Son Hall…Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Levine's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and faith.
We'll miss her dearly, and we'll continue to celebrate her life, her legacy, and the countless memories she created. May her spirit continue to guide, inspire, and remind us of the transformative power of love.
