It is with profound sadness and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the peaceful passing of Luis Ramos, who departed this life on November 20, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on October 10, 1934, in the vibrant land of Cuba, Luis embodied a spirit of unwavering dedication and boundless love throughout his remarkable journey.

A truly exceptional man, Luis devoted his entire life to nurturing and providing for his cherished family, leaving an indelible legacy of hard work, perseverance, and generosity. His passions were simple yet deeply held: the strategic thrill of playing dominoes, the exciting camaraderie of baseball, and above all, the enduring love he held for each member of his family. These affections radiated brightly, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Luis's memory will be forever treasured by his beloved wife, Nelda Ramos; his devoted son, Luis Ramos Jr., and his wife, Maria Del Pilar; his adored grandchildren, Stephanie and her husband, Daniel, Caroline, Nicollette, and Christopher; and his precious great-grandson, Benjamin. He is now reunited in eternal peace with his dear daughter, Teresa Ramos, who preceded him in death in 2018.

A gathering of family and friends for visitation and a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24, from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, located at 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. A committal service will follow on Tuesday, November 25, at 2:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186, where Luis will be laid to rest.

Affectionately known as Pipo/Popo by those closest to him, Luis will be deeply missed, but his spirit, his kindness, and the love he so freely gave will forever remain a guiding light in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.

Con profunda tristeza y sentido recuerdo anunciamos el fallecimiento de Luis Ramos, quien partió de esta vida el 20 de noviembre de 2025 a la edad de 91 años. Nacido el 10 de octubre de 1934 en la vibrante tierra de Cuba, Luis encarnó un espíritu de dedicación inquebrantable y amor infinito a lo largo de su extraordinaria trayectoria.

Un hombre verdaderamente excepcional, Luis dedicó toda su vida a nutrir y proveer para su querida familia, dejando un legado imborrable de trabajo duro, perseverancia y generosidad. Sus pasiones eran sencillas pero profundas: la emoción estratégica de jugar dominó, la emocionante camaradería del béisbol y, sobre todo, el amor eterno que sentía por cada miembro de su familia. Estos afectos irradiaban brillantemente, conmoviendo los corazones de todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

El recuerdo de Luis será atesorado por siempre por su amada esposa, Nelda Ramos; su devoto hijo, Luis Ramos Jr., y su esposa, María Del Pilar; sus adorados nietos, Stephanie y su esposo, Daniel, Caroline, Nicollette y Christopher; y su querido bisnieto, Benjamin. Ahora se reúne en paz eterna con su querida hija, Teresa Ramos, quien falleció en 2018.

El velorio y el servicio fúnebre se llevarán a cabo el lunes 24 de noviembre, de 5:00 PM a 12:00 AM, en Caballero Rivero Little Havana, ubicado en 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. El sepelio se realizará el martes 25 de noviembre a las 2:00 PM, en Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186, donde Luis será enterrado.

Conocido cariñosamente como Pipo/Popo por sus allegados, Luis será profundamente extrañado, pero su espíritu, su bondad y el amor que tan generosamente brindó permanecerán por siempre como una luz en los corazones de su familia y amigos. Que descanse en paz eterna.
