To Maggie's family & friends,

I had the privilege to work with Maggie at Philadelphia Trolley Works and Big Bus.  She always wore a smile, was outgoing, friendly, and eager to share her love of the city, and vast knowledge of its history with guests and fellow tour guides. I wish light and love for her on her new journey. She is missed by all here, and on behalf of Philadelphia Trolley Works and Big Bus, I offer sincere condolences.  

My dear cousin Maggie .  I remember my Aunt Maria, Uncle Hector and young Maggie and Rick living in  Brooklyn, NY in the same brownstone building we lived in.  Even at a very young age I saw her happy nature and how much she loved music and dancing.  I believe I have one of those wonderful moments captured on film by her loving mom and dad. They moved to New  Jersey when Maggie was in elementary school.  We visited each other and still remained close.  Once she started college and later moved to Philadelphia, we kept in touch by phone.  The  years flew by however the closeness we felt never left us. She was always so easy to talk to.  We spoke on the phone for hours about songs we love to hear, books, politics, and just anything that came to mind.  Maggie , I am going to miss our talks...I miss you.  You will always be in my heart.  Rest in Peace.

Maggie was a dear friend who I met at Cornell in the early 80’s. My fondest memories of her are from 1987-1990 when I moved from Jersey City to Philadelphia for work. Maggie had moved there after graduation and she welcomed me, helped me find an apartment, and was my closest friend in Philadelphia. I moved to Boston in 1990 for work again, and we only saw each other occasionally after that; I wish I had seen her more often. Maggie was a beautiful person inside and out and I will never forget her. My memories of Maggie and Philadelphia are vivid and I am thankful to have called Maggie a friend. RIP my friend.

I met Maggie when I was 19. She was beautiful, brilliant, and kind; a 21-year old Cornell student. I learned a lot from her. Because of her I made my way to college and eventually finished my degree. I never thought I could do that but she sparked the fire. To me, she embodied the meaning of "bright." She wasn't just smart; she had a crystal-clear mind that I adored. Then, somehow, 30 + years passed. In the last weeks I was reunited with Maggie and Rick, and had the opportunity to see their dad again. And I had the joy and privilege of meeting Maggie's cousins Carmen and Midge who embraced me like I was family. Oh, Maggie. Your family loves you and misses you. Thank you for inviting me into your life all those years ago, when we really were just kids, and inviting me again in your last moments on this planet. I will never forget you and will always be grateful for knowing you. Rest in peace.

Maggie was one of a kind, highly spirited and an intelligent young lady with a Cornell University education background in political science.     Anyone who engaged in a conversation with her would have been 
impressed with her knowledge.    May our Maggie Rest in Peace.
