Marc I. Green was born on February 15, 1943, in Newark, New Jersey, and passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at the age of 82.
Marc grew up on Miami Beach and attended Miami Beach High School. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Yuma, Arizona. Following his service, he continued his education at Miami Dade Community College and Florida Atlantic University.

Marc and Maria raised two children, Susie Green-Mateu and Michael Green, and were deeply involved in their community—especially through their volunteer work with the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida.
Marc worked for Miami-Dade County for 35 years, where he was known for his dedication and kindness. He received a Good Samaritan Award in recognition of his generous spirit and the many good deeds he quietly performed for others.
He loved photography, music, the Blue Ridge Mountains, road trips, nature, the Everglades, reading, and movies. Above all, Marc will be remembered for his gentle nature, humor, and the kindness he showed to everyone he met.
Marc’s life was defined by love, compassion, and curiosity—a life well lived and deeply cherished.
