

Maria “Pucha” Fitzpatrick, 86, a beloved mother, grandmother, and proud Cuban woman, was born on December 5, 1939, and passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Affectionately known to many as “Pucha,” Maria will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose strength, loyalty, and vibrant personality touched the lives of all who knew her.
Proud of her Cuban heritage, Maria carried herself with confidence, warmth, and resilience throughout her life. She had a lively spirit and a wonderful sense of humor that brought comfort and laughter to those around her.
Maria was known for her strong opinions and her fearless voice. Grateful for the opportunities she found in the United States and proud of her Cuban roots, she remained passionate about politics and the future of her country, never hesitating to share what she believed was right.
She loved music and singing and enjoyed bringing people together. Maria had a special gift for making others feel welcome and cared for, often expressing her love through cooking and gathering family and friends around the table.
Known for her elegance, confidence, and signature red lipstick, Maria carried herself with style and grace. Her presence was unmistakable, and her personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Above all, Maria cherished her family. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was immeasurable, and the memories they shared with her will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

A visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, Florida 33155, on March 15, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
