I'm sorry to hear of the loss of one of the most wonderful people I have ever known ...Cesi

Every time we spoke she would ask me first about my family....
Then she you would love to tell me and brag about all the new grandbabies in the family and how special it was for her....
 
My prayers and thoughts are with Noy Joy family and know that she will always have a place in my heart.

Mami, every time Lara didn’t want to go to school, you would always have her go over to your house and make the most fun games ever. She loves you so much!!!

I want to remember Ceci as an outstanding woman who spoke her mind, a person that knew how to enjoy life, have fun, be silly, be there… in the moment, a wife as solid as a rock and a unit with Cocho, an amazing Mom, still in the details of her children’s life and more so as a superb abuela. Beautiful inside and out. I am thankful for having had the chance to share some very happy moments! May she keep celebrating in the heavens! Buen viaje Ceci!!!

Ceci,

I am deeply saddened to hear of your passing, and we will miss you dearly. I’m grateful that we were able to see each other in August, when you welcomed me with open arms, just as you always did. Like the rest of the Joys, you embraced me and the Van Assche's with so much warmth, generosity, and love.

I will never forget the first time we met, when you danced to New York by Alicia Keys, making everyone laugh and marvel at your youthful, joyful spirit. That moment captured so much of who you were: full of life, full of heart, and always lifting the people around you.

The love your husband, children and grandchildren have for you is unparalleled, a reflection of the immense impact you had on each of their lives. Losing you leaves a painful emptiness for them, but know  that said grief is ultimately a form of their unexpressed love. Their longing for more time with you is simply a testament to how cherished you were, and always will be. With time, the beautiful memories will shine even brighter than the sadness of losing you.

We will miss you so much, Ceci, and we will hold you in our hearts and memories forever. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there today, but we will honour you in December when we see your family again.

Ceci-
Finding the right words here is next to impossible. You welcomed me into your family with warmth, love, laughter, happiness, and without hesitation. I’ll miss seeing your eye rolls when someone says something silly. I’ll miss being reprimanded for doing the dishes. But most of all, I’ll miss what you represented to me, cossette, and our girls. You were our leader. And yet, while I know I’ll miss those things, I also know you are not gone. I still see you in Cossette in how she raises Lara and Emilia and in so many other things. In those ways you will continue to live on.

P.S. we’ll always have new years’24 when we outperformed everyone else!

Mami, you have no idea how much I miss you. Aside from being the most wonderful mother a girl could dream of, you were the most special Lita to all your grandchildren. You’ve always been there for me whenever I needed you, but never have I felt your presence more than when I became a mom. You were ALWAYS at my side to guide me in every moment- from the day to day life, to the more difficult moments. I will be forever grateful. I can’t thank God enough that you were at my side when my two girls entered this world. Con enorme tristeza hemos recibido la noticia de la inesperada partida de Ceci. 
Por cosas de la vida, nos dejamos de ver hace ya muchos años, pero el cariño hacia ella y toda su linda familia, mas las memorias compartidas , nunca dejaron de ser parte de nuestras vidas. 
Ceci fue para mi una amiga muy especial… se puede decir que medio nos “ adoptó “ a mi y a mi familia cuando éramos  unos extraños recién llegados a Miami.  Ceci nos abrió su corazón y su hogar incondicionalmente, por lo que le estaré eternamente agradecida. 
Su alegría y bondad la caracterizaron siempre. Aquel amor y amistad que nació en aquellos tiempos se quedó en nuestros corazones y seguirán allí para siempre !

Since 1999, God blessed me by giving me this sister, friend, boss, and confidant. For 26 years I have thanked God for giving me the sister I never had biologically. Unfortunately, her life ended far too quickly, and I still can’t believe it. What more can I ask God than to keep you in the best place in heaven, for being such a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and above all, the kindest and most noble person I have ever known. Always helping others, always putting everyone else before yourself.
My best friend, your family will miss you so much, but I will miss you just as much as they will. I miss you terribly, Cecilita. It feels unreal not being able to call you like we did every single day. Believe me, I will never find anyone like you. I hope that from heaven you continue speaking to me and that I can keep confiding everything to you. I love you so much, my little sister. 💔

Lo mejor que le ha pasado a mi querido hermano Cocho fue enamorarse de Ceci. Desde ese momento, desató una historia de amor inolvidable. Al instante se convirtió en hermana para Carmen y para mi y como una hija para mis padres. Ceci ha sido una mujer extraordinaria, llena de alegría, amor y una fortaleza única. Pero su mejor desempeño fue ser la mejor madre y abuela. Siempre me acompañará su recuerdo y le doy gracias a Dios por haberla puesto en nuestro camino. Te quiero Cuñi.
