Daughter, Sister, Mother, Teacher and beloved friend, Marice Antoinette Powell, from Kingston Jamaica has passed away at the age of 62. Marice’s battle with cancer reached an end on June13th at 12:16 am at Baptist Hospital, surrounded by family. Marice was a woman of much kindness, love, faith, patience, and wisdom whose time ended too soon. Marice trusted God in his plan for her life and knew where she could find peace regardless of her illness and pain. Although we may say that she left us too soon, Marice has made such an impact on all who knew her, that she will forever be with us in spirit and heart. May the mercy of our good Lord help all struggling during this time to find comfort and warmth through Christ, family, friendship and through cherishing memories of Marice through storytelling and laughter. Marice in heaven is smiling her warming smile, may we never forget the feeling of the presence she brought.
In honor of Marice, to respect her wishes, she will be directly cremated, and a Memorial reception will be hosted involving Family and close friends.
